Investment Advisory Committee
The Investment Advisory Committee comprises experienced and internationally regarded non-executive advisors in investing in renewable energy who provide advice to NTR executives and NTR Funds on potential investments. The role of the Committee is to review and challenge investment proposals against agreed investment hurdle criteria and determine whether or not to recommend the investments.
Charlotte is a non-executive director of NTR plc. She is the Managing Director of GGG Limited, which advises on corporate governance. Charlotte is also on the boards of a number of listed and unlisted companies including Laing O’Rourke Limited, JP Morgan Convertibles Income Fund Limited, Blackstone/GSO Loan Financing Limited and Phoenix Spree Deutschland Limited. Charlotte is also on the board of Westminster University.
Prior to her appointment at GGG Limited, Charlotte was the Managing Partner at Brook Street Partners Limited from January 2003. Charlotte has also held a number of senior capital markets roles in the City of London and Denmark. Charlotte is a member of the Institute of Directors, which is regulated by the European Commission.
Christopher Hunt is a Managing Director of Riverstone LLC, an energy and power-focused private investment firm with over $25bn of funds under management.
Chris has nearly 20 years of experience in renewable energy, gas and power. Throughout the course of his career he has developed, constructed, financed and/or operated renewable and conventional energy businesses in over 25 countries involving more than 30GWs of power capacity.
Prior to joining Riverstone, Chris was one of the principals leading the creation and growth of BP Alternative Energy. Before BP, Chris worked extensively in the energy sector including with Enron, where he was responsible for the acquisition, development and operations of a multi-billion dollar portfolio of 16 coal, gas, wind and distribution businesses spread across Asia and Latin America. Chris currently serves on the boards of Pattern Energy Group LP, Silver Ridge Power LLC and Velocita Energy Developments Ltd.
Fabrizio De Candia
Fabrizio de Candia, is a senior executive with 28 years’ experience in global power generation.
Fabrizio is a partner at Gas2Power and a senior advisor of SSGA Power Consulting. Fabrizio was previously General Manager EPC business with Alstom Power for US and Italy, where he negotiated and constructed over €1bn in turnkey power project contracts.
He has also led independent power development, investments and construction of renewable and conventional power projects across US, Europe and Asia.
Kevin Devlin has 30 years commercial, developmental and operational experience in the energy sector.
Kevin is Senior Vice President of Pattern Energy Inc., a US-based renewable energy company with activities in North and South America, and Japan. Pattern Energy Inc. is listed on the Nasdaq and operates over 3,000MW of renewable energy facilities. Kevin is a member of the 7-person Executive Management Team at Pattern and has leadership responsibility for various corporate functions in the company and for transformational change.
Prior to Pattern, Kevin held executive responsibility for the operations of Iberdrola Renewables in the US during a period of exceptional growth, covering a portfolio of over 6,000MW of generation assets across 20 States in the US and representing over $10 billion in direct investments. Prior to that, Kevin was Director of Commercial Development for Scottish Power, where he was responsible for power origination, gas trading, fuel procurement, and green product activities.
Kevin began his career at Exxon where he held a variety of positions spanning both onshore and offshore operations and commercial activities in the UK, US and France.
Kevin holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Queens University Belfast and has completed executive development programs at Kellogg, IMD Lausanne and Wharton Business Schools.
