NTR plc and its subsidiaries (‘NTR’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’), the Data Controller, is a sustainable infrastructure investor and asset manager, with our head office located at 1st Floor The Hive, Carmanhall Road, Sandyford Business Park, Dublin D18 Y2C9, Ireland.
We are committed to respecting the privacy and security of all our website users. We will be clear and transparent about the information we are collecting and what we do with that information.
NTR is the Data Controller in respect of the Personal Data that we gather from you when you interact with our site. This notice sets out the basis on which any Personal Data we collect from you, or from others, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your Personal Data and how we will treat it.
Details of personal data processing
In the course of our business, we collect and process the Personal Data as set out in this Notice. A Data subject is the individual the Personal Data relates to. The Personal Data we process includes data we receive directly from a Data subject (for example, by visiting our website or by subsequently corresponding with us by mail, phone, email or otherwise).

What Personal Data do we collect about you?
“Personal Data” is data that identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you and may include your name, address, email address and telephone number. Such information is only collected from you if you voluntarily submit it to us.

Who do we share your Personal Data with?
Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
We may provide Non-Personal Data to third parties, where such information is combined with similar information of other users of our website. For example, we might inform third parties regarding the number of unique users who visit our website, the demographic breakdown of our community users of our website, or the activities that visitors to our website engage in while on our website. However, we do not sell or share any information about individual users.
We will disclose your Personal Data if we believe in good faith that we are required to disclose it in order to comply with any applicable law, a summons, a search warrant, a court or regulatory order, or other statutory requirement.
We attach at Schedule 1 a list of all data processors, who process Personal Data on our behalf, with whom your Personal Data is shared.
Sale of Business
We reserve the right to transfer information (including your Personal Data) to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of our company provided that the third party agrees to adhere to the terms of the Website Privacy Notice and provided that the third party only uses your Personal Data for the purposes that you provided it to us.
Do we transfer your information outside the EEA?
We may share your Personal Data with our third-party Processors. These Processors are located in the UK which has been deemed to hold corresponding protections by the European Commission. See Schedule 1 for more information.
How long do we keep your information?
We only collect the amount of Personal Data that is necessary for us to fulfil our obligations as the Data Controller. We will only keep that data for certain periods as outlined in our Retention Policy. The time periods for which we retain your data depends on the type of Personal Data and the purposes for which we use it. We will keep your Personal Data for no longer than is required or permitted.
Automated decision-making, profiling and AI
NTR does not currently use automated decision making and profiling. If in the future NTR intends to use automated decision making and profiling, we will communicate this to you and request your consent where applicable.
Your rights with respect to your Personal Data
You have the following rights:
- to request access to any Personal Data held by us relating to you (a “Data Subject Access Request”). To make a Data Subject Access Request, please email us at dpo@ntrplc.com.
- to have any inaccurate or misleading data rectified, corrected or erased (subject to certain statutory restrictions);
- to restrict the processing of Personal Data in certain circumstances;
- not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated decision-making including profiling (subject to certain statutory restrictions);
- to data portability, which allows individuals to move, copy or transfer Personal Data from one IT environment to another. You can request to obtain a copy of your Personal Data in a commonly used electronic format so that you can manage and move it.
- to object to processing of Personal Data based on public interest grounds or based on legitimate interest of the data controller (subject to certain statutory exceptions).
- where your data is processed based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before your consent was withdrawn.
Please note that these rights are not absolute rights and may be subject to statutory restrictions.

In order to avail of any of these rights, a request must be submitted in writing to dpo@ntrplc.com. For the protection of privacy, suitable proof of identification will be required before a request can be processed.
