Sustainability & Impact

During the last year, our assets have avoided around 350,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. Our green energy powers the equivalent of almost half a million homes each year. That’s more than enough to power Edinburgh!

We closely monitor our sustainability impact through daily, weekly, monthly and annual performance data. Annually, we subject each asset to a performance review using the ntRADAR – this asks the tough question of “are we doing enough?” and examines our impact on society, supply chain, water, waste, biodiversity and safety.

We conduct our business responsibly and our suppliers must do the same. We expect them to deliver highest standards of business ethics, human rights, health and safety, environmental protection, and responsible sourcing.

We respect and value biodiversity and all nature on our sites. We continually monitor native species numbers, and we have active partnerships to create parcels of vibrant biodiversity.

We engage proactively with our neighbours and strive to have a positive impact in the community. Active collaboration delivers impressive results for the environment, social fabric and wellbeing of the local community.
